also y'know the classic complaint that per spec there's no thermal interface for usb modules (in practice part of the heat pipe is exposed on slots 1 and 4 so u might be able yo get away with it)

anyway the nvme m.2 ssds in my servers at uni have heat sinks lol

i think the pcie to nvme cards they're installed in came with thermal cheese, heatsinks, and clips to hold the sandwich together
