A near-future thriller of a woman drawn into a world of ecoterrorism and the smuggling of taxidermied endangered species. Jane is a unique protagonist, a hulking former collegiate wrestler and bodybuilder with a violent past, turned into an apparently respectable middle class mother. Not particularly weird by standards, but he keeps things disorientating in ways that obscure the protagonist's motives and didn't exactly help me get into the story. It did grow on me though. @bookstodon
