@liamoc This is related to my experience. Similar situation happened when there were some education system level failures. I was in a place where some students didn't want the current major but choosing a different major was impossible. Some other students seemed don't want any study but staying in university was beneficial to them for other reasons. No one wanted to turn up and when people did turn up, people were minding their own businesses.
@liamoc Idris2 is still not ready; Idris1 is not under active development. I am worried about the risk of being obsolete soon if doing works with Idris
I went to a hospital in Australia. Oh, people were all here! The doctor was a Kiwi, the nurse was a Kiwi. That’s why I had difficulties seeing a specialist in Auckland, I thought.

@liamoc I installed a software. There was a bug; I opened an issue. The reply from the developer was horrifically not distinguishable from dreaded bots. The reply contained so many hallucinations. But when I looked at some other posts from the developer, it felt like from a human. I just felt more disoriented than when facing with dreaded bots. I am trying to find a new word for it
@liamoc I am using nix for what can actually make my life easier; and I use homebrew or apt or language specific packaging manager when they are faster to get jobs done. I am never spending time to make everything confine to one tool
@liamoc There might be two groups: one group uses those tools; the other group spending so many time on tools themselves. Maybe only the second group is observed to use Nix
@jonmsterling@liamoc This is true😿Their brand new motherboard with no ram no ssd costs similarly to a whole laptop from other manufacturers with the same motherboard in second hand market
